Councilmen Faulconer and Peters' permanent ban on the November ballot
Now it's time to just get out the vote
On Tuesday morning, the San Diego City Council put the beach alcohol ban on the November 4th ballot. Councilmen Faulconer and Peters believe that the public will vote in favor of their proposed permanent beach alcohol ban.
What can you do?
Register to vote and get other San Diegans to mobilize and express themselves at the polls this fall. Below is a link that you can pass along to your friends and family so that they can get registered and ready to express themselves:
https://ovr.sos.ca.gov/votereg/OnlineVoterReg
After you fill in and submit all of the information on this page, you'll receive a confirmation by mail that you must complete. We advise that in this process you choose to register as an absentee/mail-in. An absentee ballot will be mailed to your registered address so you can vote on your own time and then mail it back. It's still tough for a lot of us to get off work and get to the ballot box on election day.
Do you want to do more than just cast your vote on November 4th? Is your love of liberty stronger than just one ballot? How about working to get others registered to vote? How about helping to spread the word that this issue will be on the ballot? You'd be surprised how many people are just plain uninformed about local issues that affect them. Send us an email and we will put you in touch with others who want to make a difference.
