Press Release: FreePB.org Granted 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Status

FreePB.org, San Diego-based community group dedicated to preserving freedom at local parks and beaches, is officially granted 501(c)3 nonprofit status by the IRS. With this designation, FreePB.org is a government-recognized public charity, and any donations received are fully tax-deductible.

FreePB.org is committed to preventing the erosion of our freedoms at San Diego parks and beaches. We do this by working to mitigate the problems associated with the public's use of these very popular places, and by assisting government to craft intelligent management policies.

Specific efforts include:

• Purchasing/placing large beach trash bins during major holiday weekends
• Organizing volunteer beach and park cleanup days
• Educating the public on regulations, rights, and responsibilities
• Serving on advisory panels and government bodies
